Safe transport on A2 Motorway with Traffic Management System

Traffic Management System on two sections of the A2 Motorway.
The A2 motorway in Poland is planned to run along the route Świecko-Poznań-Warszawa-Siedlce-Kukuryki. The motorway is an investment of European importance. It was listed as a very important government task.
On the territory of Warsaw, the A2 route continues as the S2 expressway (it is part of the city’s ring road – Warsaw Southern Bypass). On the eastern side of Warsaw, the A2 motorway continues from the “Lubelska” junction (junction in the S17 expressway at its intersection with the A2 motorway) to the Mińsk Mazowiecki Bypass.
And it was on this section of motorway that APM PRO created the Traffic Management System. Construction work was carried out on two sections with a total length of 14.6 km. The implementation of the Traffic Management System, required a large variety of solutions to be installed as part of this task.
The A2 motorway in the section in question runs outside the urban area. The project area is mainly woodland, land, meadows and pastures often in wetland and marshy areas. The systems were installed on the motorway, the expressway crossing the motorway and at the res areas.

- konstrukcje wsporcze – 11 sztuk,
- kamery automatycznej detekcji zdarzeń AID – 20 sztuk,
- kamery CCTV – 5 sztuk,
- stacje pomiaru ruchu TC – 7 sztuk,
- zbiorcze węzły komunikacyjne WK – 45 sztuk,
- stacje ważenia WIM w klasie B+(7) – 2 sztuki,
- stacje meteorologiczne – 2 sztuki,
- stacja CB – 1 sztuka.
Termin realizacji: sierpień 2020 – listopad 2020.
