Traffic Management System APM PRO improves transport on road S19 in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
In September 2020, APM PRO started working as a consortium partner with GDDKiA in Rzeszów. The task was to implement the Traffic Management System on four sections of the S19 road, on the Lublin-Rzeszów section. An important issue for the whole project was to ensure control of field devices from the local level of the Central Traffic Management System in Sokołów Małopolski. A particular challenge during the project was to agree with the Investor on the location of the automatic event detection cameras. They had to cover the ends of the exit and entry lanes on the slip roads. This approach contributes to improving the safety of road users.
As part of the completed Traffic Management System, APM PRO supplies and activates event detection cameras, video surveillance cameras, remote pavement condition sensors and a road weather station. The scope of work also included equipping the Traffic Management Centre and integrating the distributed modules with the central software.
Used technologies: Hikvision, Lufft, Control Pro.
Scope of work:
- installation of AID automatic event detection cameras – 60 units,
- installation of a weather station,
- installation of a non-invasive pavement condition sensor – 8 units,
