IRS31Pro

The IRS31Pro road sensor is an integrated measuring element performing complex measurements of road surface parameters which play an important role in efficiency of the road weather stations.

The measurements done by the IRS31Pro allow to differentiate the following surface states: dry, damp, wet, damp with residual chemical compounds, wet with residual chemical compounds, hoarfrost, snow (slush), ice. The IRS31Pro provides also a radar measurement of water film or ice thickness on the sensor surface.

IRS31Pro special features:

• gathering data by the RS485 interface,
• low power consumption (it works on solar panels),
• uses radar to measure the water film,
• is resistant to chemicals used in road industry and petroleum substances.
