XII International Transport Systems Telematics Conference will be held between 10 and 13 October 2012, organized under the auspices of His Magnificence Rector of the Silesian University of Technology.
Among many interesting lectures there will also be a speech given by the APM representatives, who will talk about Driver’s biocybernetic monitoring and early warning system, and The management system of detours in urban areas. The APM is also the conference sponsor.

On 21st September 2012 in Lublin will be held a seminar organized by the ITS Polska, titled ‘Intelligent Transport Systems in self-government roads systems: regional, county, urban and district. Problems, innovations and solutions.’
The APM is the essential partner. The lecture titled ‘The scale of crossing the acceptable traffic norms – statistics from chosen, pre-selection weight in motion systems’ will be held by dr Eng. Artur Ryguła.
The goal of the seminar is to present ways of protecting self-governmental and city roads from excessive exploitation and degradation.

At the same time, the APM, along with the Transport and the Biocybernetics Systems Institute co-organizes trip to the ITS World Congress in Vienna.
Between 27-29 June 2012 the Faculty of Transport at Silesian University of Technology organized the IV International Scientific Conference “Transport Problems”. The APM supported its organization.
The APM representatives had a presentation on “Small and Medium Business as a bridge from science to implementations” and “Variable Message Signs – some crucial aspects of optoelectronic features”.

The Intertraffic Amsterdam international trade fair regarding road industry and transport was held for the 21st time, this year between 27 and 30 March 2012. It is one of the most prestigious enterprise of that sort, focusing in one place and time decision makers, advisers from private companies, entrepreneurs and representatives of the local, state and international authorities. The capitol of the Netherlands during the trade fair drew the attention of the companies that specialize in the road infrastructure, traffic management, safety and parking organization from all over the world. The numbers can easily show how huge enterprise the Intertraffic is: according to the data from 2010, 25 thousand people from over 114 countries visited the trade fair. One of the few Polish companies that took part in it was the APM – the expert in the area of the ITS road systems integration. For the people who represent the APM it was a very fruitful time, used especially on meeting with company’s long-standing business partners: Swarco, Lufft, Nippon Carbide Industries, Swareflex. Nevertheless we were still able to establish a dialogue with the representatives of companies that have in their offer interesting solutions, systems and products from the ITS area which grows on the global market.
The APM company was also one of the 800 exhibitors from more than 45 countries,and we presented our offer among the international concerns from the road and transport business area. The APM offer included the presentation of its own solutions for the pre-selection weight in motion systems and the traffic meteorology system, as well as the VMS content management system. The interest given to the company’s solutions by the guests visiting the stand only confirmed the rightness of the decision to present itself on the international market. The participation in the Intertraffic trade fair is on the one hand an opportunity to present oneself among the best in the business of road and transportation, on the other hand it is a chance to belong to an elite circle of the companies that determine current trends and achievements in this area.
Intertraffic is the most interesting existing formula of a trade fair for the road and transport industry, and APM Konior Piwowarczyk Konior Sp. z o. o. will be a part of it. The company will be one of many exhibitors during the trade fair in Amsterdam in the 09.200 department, hall number 9.
Intertraffic Amsterdam 2012 exhibition will be a synthesis of the experience gained in 40 years of its existence. Participation of over 800 exhibitors from more than 45 countries, with almost all of 50 biggest combines in the world, is a guarantee of a very broad sectional view of very different, modern trends of achievements. Moreover, congresses, seminars and many meetings will be held there. The space will be divided into four main sectors: infrastructure, traffic management, safety, parking.
Since the beginning in 1972 the Intertraffic Amsterdam trade fair has been chosen preferably by the experts from around the world. The trade fair takes place every two years and is the mandatory point in the calendar of many road infrastructure contractors, traffic management, safety and parking management branches. Premiers of products of the biggest global companies will take place during four days of the trade fair. After the success’ of the main event in Amsterdam, it was decided to held smaller Intertraffic exhibitions in Turkey, India and China.

ITS POLSKA association along with General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (pl. GDDKiA) organises a seminar with a tour titled ‘Open Doors in Traffic Management Centre in Stryków’ that will be held between 22-23 March 2012 in Styków, near Łódź.
The APM is the factual partner of the seminar. Its representatives will show two presentations. Marcin Miodek will take care of the topic of ‘Steering algorithms in LCS and VMS boards on the A2 motorway, Konin-Stryków section’, and Piotr Świątalski will cover the ‘Innovation of LED RGB technology in Variable Message Signs’.
The invitation to participate is directed to the government institutions representatives, self-government units, including cities, city road administrations and representatives of services, organizations, colleges, science institutes and press sectors.
