Development of the Service and IT&M integration section

Project titled  ‘Development of the Service and IT&M integration sections in order to allow to serve high quality services and bring innovative solutions in the intelligent transport systems’ was implemented from 1 January 2012 to 30 April 2014.

Purchases of modern devices, tools, equipment and software were made in order to allow service and integration sections to provide better maintenance of road telematics and road safety devices, as well as assembly and consultancy in their scope.

Thanks to this investment we sell products with specialized services, such as integrating software, monitoring of installed devices and communication interface. We also offer technical support for our customer during the warranty period and after it for the road telematics.

Nationwide science seminar 2013

2 December 2013 at Faculty of Management and Service Economy at Silesian University of Technology there was a nationwide science seminar titled Costs and prices in transport, theoretical and practical aspects.

The APM CFO, Dawid Brudny during the seminary gave a lecture titled Variable Message Boards as an innovative element of road infrastructure. An attempt to evaluate implementation costs.

The seminar was organized by the Department of Transport Systems and Policy at WziUE US, and Polish Economy Association, county branch in Szczecin. The goal was to present theoretical and pragmatic issues and prices in transport.

79th KLIR seminary

On 16-19 October there was a KLIR seminary in Bielsko-Biała, titled The Role and Importance of Intelligent Transport Systems in Silesian Conurbations. The seminary was honoured by the presence of the former Prime Minister prof. Jerzy Buzek’s representative, Mr. Henryk Kretek. The Silesian area administration representatives were present (including representatives of Bielsko-Biała, of course), as well as from municipalities, universities, and members of the KLIR from the whole Poland.

The meeting was highly assessed both in terms of its merits and organization. The presentation regarding the reliability of the ITS systems delivered in the beginning of the merit part of the seminar by prof. Andrzej W. Mitas had probably the biggest impact on the audience.

The TST 2013 Conference

This year’s Transport Systems Telematics 2013 conference was held on 23-26 October. The APM, which was the conference sponsor and participant, was represented by Paweł Piwowarczyk and Dawid Brudny.

Transport Systems Telematics 2012

XII International Transport Systems Telematics Conference will be held between 10 and 13 October 2012, organized under the auspices of His Magnificence Rector of the Silesian University of Technology.

Among many interesting lectures there will also be a speech given by the APM representatives, who will talk about Driver’s biocybernetic monitoring and early warning system, and The management system of detours in urban areas. The APM is also the conference sponsor.

Seminar – Intelligent Transport Systems in self-government roads system

On 21st September 2012 in Lublin will be held a seminar organized by the ITS Polska, titled ‘Intelligent Transport Systems in self-government roads systems: regional, county, urban and district. Problems, innovations and solutions.’

The APM is the essential partner. The lecture titled ‘The scale of crossing the acceptable traffic norms – statistics from chosen, pre-selection weight in motion systems’ will be held by dr Eng. Artur Ryguła.

The goal of the seminar is to present ways of protecting self-governmental and city roads from excessive exploitation and degradation.

APM at the 19th ITS World Congress Vienna 2012

MSc. Witold Konior, the doctoral student of the Silesian University of Technology and the manager of the IT&M Section in the APM Konior Piwowarczyk Konior Sp. z o. o. will give a presentation on „Weigh-In-Motion systems for pre-selection, enforcement and data collection in Poland” on 23rd October of this year.

At the same time, the APM, along with the Transport and the Biocybernetics Systems Institute co-organizes trip to the ITS World Congress in Vienna.
